The most famous attraction in Western Australia, which appears in almost every tourist brochure, is Wave Rock. Wave Rock, located near the town of Hyden, remains forever a surfer�s dream turned to stone. More than 100 m long, and 15m high, the petrified breaker�s resemblance to the real thing is emphasized by the colourful vertical streaking, the result of natural chemicals in the granite reacting with rainwater.
