This half-panorama was taken from the summit of the famous and also mysterious Hanging Rock. Hanging Rock is located in a rural setting about 80 kms to the north of Melbourne. It was made world famous by the novel "Picnic at Hanging Rock" which highlighted the Rock`s aura of mystery by portraying the dissapearance of a group of schoolgirls in the early 1900`s.
