To climb or not to climb Uluru ?

For many people in the broader community, a climb to the top of the rock is a great experience. For many visitors, a visit to Uluru is the highlight of their trip to Australia's Red Centre. Aborigines see it as a violation of the cultural aspect of the rock. A sign at the entrance asks visitors to respect the wishes of the Aboriginal people and avoid climbing and walking on the rock.

We believe that it is important to respect this, and support the stance that the Uluru is NOT to be climbed.
