DAY 1
Arrive Adelaide. Explore the city on foot. Buy local produce at the bustling Central Market, visit the museums and cultural attractions on North Terrace, go shopping at Rundle Mall and take scenic cruise along the River Torrens. Or board the 1920s tram to Glenelg by the sea.
DAY 2
Barossa Valley. Go wine tasting in this scenic region, shop for gourmet products and capture the beauty of Lyndoch Lavender Farm and the roses at Chateu Barossa.
DAY 3
Barossa - Adelaide Hills . Continue touring Barossa and spend another night or proceed to Adelaide Hills. Pick fruit in the season, buy heritage factory-made chocolates, shop for arts & crafts or cuddle a koala. In the evening, proceed to McLaren Vale, Flerieu Peninsula or stay the night in the Hills - try the luxury bed & breakfast self-contained cottages.
DAY 4
McLaren Vale - Victor Harbor, Flerieu Peninsula. Taste boutique wines at over 50 cellar doors and eat your way around the Peninsula from almonds, olives, berries, cheese and more at various stops. Then board a horse drawn tram at Victor Harbor to Granite Island, home to 2,000 little fairy penguins.
DAY 5
Victor Harbor - Adelaide. Continue toring Victor harbor - board a dolphin cruise (all year round), or a whale watching cruise (June - September) from Granite Island or the Coorong cruise from Goolwa. Then drive back to Adelaide via the pretty Scottish town of Strathalbyn, known for its antiques and Port Elliot.
Victor Harbor - Kangaroo Island . Enjoy close encounters with wildlife and nature at Seal Bay, Remarkable Rocks, Admiral's Arch, Koala Walk and Kelly Hills Cave. Watch pelicans being fed and shop for local produce on Kangaroo Island.
DAY 6
Adelaide . Spend longer time in Glenelg with a cruise or swim with the dolphins or join a full day tour to Kangaroo Island.
DAY 7
Adelaide. Continue exploring Adelaide and indulge in last minute shopping in the city or suburb. There is late night shopping (until 9 pm) in the suburb on Thursday and in the city on Friday. Try your luck at the casino.
