The beautiful, domed Latrobe Reading Room of the State Library, Victoria

This panorama shows the famous domed-top Latrobe Reading Room in the State Library of Victoria in Melbourne. This great library celebrated its 150th anniversary on the weekend after this photo was taken. Extensive restoration and renovation, recently completed, was undertaken for years on the library for it to be the rightful place as the reservoir of knowledge for its next 150 years.
