The saltwater crocodile is a fierce and dangerous predator, and have claimed more human lives than sharks. They are found not only inland in freshwater, but also in the sea off Australias north coast. It grows to only 6 metres (20 ft). Thats plenty enough to grab a unwary human by the legs and spoil their day with the death-roll they use to disable and eventually kill their victims. They are lovingly called by Australians with the pet name of saltie for obvious reasons.
