Rainbow Serpent (Aboriginal Art Australia) by Danny Eastwood
This is a screen print on a red background which measures 26 inches (65 cm) in length by 7 � inches (19cm). It is a reproduction of Danny Eastwood�s famous rainbow serpent painting on canvas which stretches 26 feet (8 m). This giant serpent is claimed to have travelled through the land creating valleys and crevices. In its wake, the rain-forged rivers flowed which allowed the growth of plants and trees. Sometime later, animals were formed and began to feed on the plants and trees.
Danny Eastwood�s claim to fame was he was named the National Aboriginal Artist of the Year for 1992/93.
