Organ Pipes National Park - a lava formation

Lava flows created a 20m wall of basalt columns in a gorge in this 121-ha park near Sunbury. The �organ pipes� can be seen from the carpark, or close up via an easy walking trail. A flora and fauna re-generation program is gradually bringing this one denuded area back to its native state.
