Flinders St. Station and Southgate Centre on the Yarra, Melbourne

This panorama takes in some of the key landmarks in Melbourne, from the good ol' muddy Yarra River ! The massive yellow building is the Flinder St. train station - the main train station serving suburban Melbourne. The old Victorian bridge on the river is the Princess Bridge. The brownish-grey pillbox, bunker-looking building is the Melbourne Concert Hall - it looks terrible compared to the Sydney Opera House, but the acoustics is way, way better... life is fair. All along the river bank is the Southgate Centre - lots of great restaurants overlooking the river. The shiny glass towers of the Rialto, the tallest building in the southern hemisphere can be seen in the background.
