The Adelaide Festival Centre, the white topped buildings, has better acoustics than the famed Sydney Opera House. Oddly, it looks like the Opera House with the sails chopped square ! With its concert hall, playhouse, space theatre, outdoor amphitheatre, bistro and restaurant, it hosts Australia`s premier arts event held in March each year. The old, brownish, grand looking building is the Old Parliament House,which now houses the Constitutional Museum. Incidentally, it was first planned in 1889, but was not completed for 50 years because of a dispute over a dome...and did not open until 1939. Patience, mate !
