This hand painted music sticks is used by tribal Aborigines as a rhythm instrument along with vocal chants. In some areas of Australia, these sticks are used to accompany the didgeridoo. It is crafted out of solid timber measuring 22 cm in length (8� inches) by 3.5 cm in diameter (about 1� inches). This example is decorated with a kangaroo. A matching stand is included !
