PANORAMIC VIEW - THE STADTHUYS, MELAKA TOWN This panorama shot was taken at 3pm in the afternoon on the 3rd Aug 2000 at a roundabout island at the "old" town center of old Melaka town. This shot is a potpourri collection of Melaka's rich past heritage. You can see the famous Stadthuys buildings (or "Stadthuis" in Dutch) in built by the Dutch in the 17th century. [see related product] The Christchurch and clock tower was built by the British in the 19th century.
