For Aussies, “White Christmas” has a slightly different meaning as we’ll never ever have a White Christmas unless it’s the next Ice Age (hmmm). The reason is simple – we are right in the middle of a hot summer when it is X’mas time in December! Remember, Australia is in the southern-hemisphere. So, we are really likelier to have a “White-hot Christmas” instead. Santa Claus would need to be prepared to sweat, sweat, sweat in his winter outfit! It is normally Hot! Hot! Hot rather than Ho! Ho!
