Well, another thing to do in the hot summer is to watch the game of Cricket! It’s deemed the refined version of baseball, where the ball actually bounces. The Australians really come to life (and away from the beaches) whenever the Cricket team from England comes over to play against Australia. Then the Australian team goes all out to provide “Thanksgiving” to England for colonizing Australia 200+ years ago by battering the “Poms” (English folks) into submission on the Cricket pitches!
